Team/Role Overview

This position is part of the Accountability, Culture and Talent (ACT) transformation program group formed to lead Citi’s transformation efforts across these three critical pillars. We are at a pivotal moment of redefinition across our franchise as we transform our risk and control environment to one that is stronger and simpler.

What you’ll do

Regulatory Reporting

  • Facilitate the reporting of progress on ACT work to a variety of stakeholders, in particular regulators and the Board.

  • Key deliverables will be the creation of ACT generated decks, completion of transformation templates, talking points and editing of answers to regulatory questions.

  • Lead and drive the execution of strategic projects / initiatives.

  • Support the end-to-end management and oversight of complex programs, within schedule and resources.

  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to key stakeholders, highlighting risks, and providing sufficient project details, metrics, and assessments as warranted.

  • Maintain solid relationships with key external (e.g., vendor etc.) and internal stakeholders.

  • Gather data and create presentation material / senior-level talking points for internal and external reporting and communication purposes.

  • Initiatives will include stakeholders across the business, i.e., technology, product, operations, servicing, marketing/ communications, and legal/ compliance.

  • Define, execute, and enhance processes and controls required to manage/govern Projects.

  • Make recommendations for improving the effectiveness of policy and practices.

What we’ll need from you

  • Ability to understand complex information and translate it into the highest standards of plain English that is appropriate for the given audience, visually using PPT and in narrative form.

  • Ability to think critically in reviewing the raw material provided to them makes sense and will be credible to the given audience.

  • Ability to discern what is important and what is not and the confidence and courage to push back when the raw material they are given does not pass muster.

  • A background in regulatory affairs will be helpful as it will give a head start in understanding the perspective of the ultimate end audience.

  • Intellect, curiosity, rigor, and the ability to combine a perspective of the big picture with the attention to detail all important attributes.

  • Experience with technology projects a plus.

  • Required skills include project management, quantitative aptitude, and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business issues through concise presentation skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills to oversee cross-functional work streams.

  • Solid organizational skills and ability to work autonomously.

  • Capacity to anticipate and proactively identify and resolve problems.

  • Ability to multitask within tight timelines.

  • Ability to drive projects from ideation or assignment to execution.

Education

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
