Responsibilities

  • Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
  • Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and appliances using hand and power tools
  • Diagnosing malfunctions and faults in electrical systems, apparatus, and components using testing instruments
  • Installing new production equipment.
  • Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment.
  • Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines, including assessing the performance of each machine with its operator.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical breakdowns.
  • Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
  • Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
  • Conducting routine preventative maintenance and safety checks.
  • Sourcing and ordering parts required for breakdown repair and preventative maintenance.
  • Communicating with the production team.
  • Maintaining a clean work area and the organized storage of spare parts.
  • Preparing and submitting maintenance reports.
