TEKsystems Credentialing Coordinator in BEL AIR, Maryland
TekSystems is hiring for a Credentialing Coordinator in the Bel Air, MD area!
MUST HAVE: Any credentialing experience within the healthcare field is preferred!
Description:
The Coordinator is responsible for preparing and submitting credentialing applications and supporting documentation for the purpose of medical staff and allied health professional credentialing and health plan credentialing. The Coordinator follows up on the status of applications, tracking progress on all pending and completed work. The Coordinator manages their own duties and functions independently, maintaining a high quality for detail and timeliness.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Three years experience in Hospital Credentialing role, not benefits or provider credentialing
Must be certified, have a CPC-S or CPMSM OR have at least 18 months in credentialing role to be able to sit for test
Sound knowledge of credentialing, TJC and state requirements, CAQH, NACQ. Knowledge of medical terminology.
