Description and Requirements

Position Description

  1. Web production expert supporting Web content production, eCommerce operations, Web user experience and site performance optimization of lenovo.com

  2. Primary owner of Web production platform testing activities, including UAT testing and regression testing for all code releases. Verify quality and usability of new web features and UI updates.

  3. Technical owner of web and UX function implementation on Lenovo.com in the Asia pacific region. Act as program manager during major site revamps and function upgrades.

  4. Leading tech consultant for critical system bugs and issues for all teams in WPC Beijing; primary tech owner who works with IT and relevant global teams to drive continuous improvement of system stability and function usability.

Position Requirements

  1. Expert of front-end Web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Knowledge about common Web programming platforms and programming / scripting languages. Experience in QA automation or developing testing scripts is highly desired.

  2. At least 3 years of experience in Web development, operations or testing role, especially in managing enterprise level Web systems. IT Project management experience using Jira. eCommerce related experience is preferred.

  3. Bachelor degree in computer science, Internet or eCommerce related field.

  4. Working level knowledge of issues surrounding Web user experience, Web UI and SEO/SEM.

  5. Good English skill (CET-6 or equivalent), able to work and communicate well in an English speaking environment. Ready to participate or host across-function meetings with global team members, often at night time. Experience in international matrix work environment is strongly desired.
