As a member of the core search and AI team, you will have a direct impact on the quality of Bing's search results, which in turn influences the experience of millions of daily user searches. We are leveraging the latest Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to identify the most relevant documents from the web. To achieve this, we are not only implementing the best machine-learning models but also innovating the platform, tools, and services at Bing to accommodate large language models and advanced ranking techniques effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and implement intricate services and experiences with a focus on performance, simplicity, scalability, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with partner teams to enhance the stability and efficiency of Bing's ranking stack.

• Adapt Bing's ranking stack to accommodate new scenarios.

• Empower and facilitate innovation within Bing's web search capabilities.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• BS and MS degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field

• 3+ years of working experience, proficiency in software development using C/C++ and Python

• Experienced in working with distributed systems

• Experienced in using and developing deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch

• Knowledge of machine learning, optimization, and data structures

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Fluency in English with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
