Job Description Summary

The Senior Image Quality Engineer will work as feature owner to cooperate with cross-functional team to deliver/maintain the system Image quality design and perform the test for medical device. He/She need to lead the Image chain hardware and image processing algorithm design, verification and validation.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Design image processing architecture and algorithm, adjust and optimize the parameters to meet clinical requirement.

  • Define X-ray exposure management strategy to get the balance of dose and image quality, work with generator design owner to implement X-ray control design.

  • Working with customers, marketing and field personnel to design and refine IQ related new features, and describing those features with technical requirement specification which can be follow by the design team.

  • Test and evaluate imaging components, analyze test data to provide professional evaluation report.

  • Support manufacture to define staging and calibration process, support service team to resolve image quality related complaints and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Track and study latest technology in X-ray imaging and processing, involve in ATP (Advanced Technology Project), help to build technology advantage.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Image Processing, Biomedical Engineering, X-Ray Imaging, or closely related discipline.

  • 5+ years relevant working experience.

  • Good experience and design skill in image processing, signal processing, mathematical modeling.

  • Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems.

  • Rich experience of using Matlab/C/C++ for algorithm implementation and simulation.

  • Excellent teamwork, coordination, and communication skill.

Desired Characteristics

  • Rich design experience in medical imaging devices, especially in DSA, X-ray, CT product.

  • Effective oral and written English communication skills, global project experience will be plus.

  • Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task.

  • Demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities.
