General Summary

An experienced business development professional to work for non-theatrical co-production business development for Greater China and SEA, be responsible to achieve the annual targets and contributing to the co-production overall business results. Supporting business leader to conduct the regional strategy planning and management.

Key Responsibilities

Business Planning and Strategies

  • To achieve the annual sales target through developing sales and content strategies and tactics. Anticipate business challenges ahead and evolve plans promptly to ensure the delivery of annual targets.

  • To plan, develop, execute and implement sales strategies and plans, integrating with the WBD Local Production strategy to optimize business results.

Leadership and Sales Management

  • To ensure that all pipelines and actions are well executed. Work closely with production team to ensure operation efficiency and delivery timeline.

  • To provide leadership to the sales team to ensure effective execution of the co-production pipelines.

Internal Partnership

  • Develop new opportunities with ad sales team to achieve sales goals. Partner with content department to establish short- and long-term strategies; working closely with marketing team to promote each co-pro project.

  • To collaborate with other regions of WBD in contributing to the across region projects and priorities including revenue generation, cost management, and other business objectives.

  • External Partnership: to develop and strengthen relationship with trade partners and relevant industry platforms/partners to explore business opportunities and to obtain market intelligence.

Experience required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or other related degree. Master’s Degree will be a plus

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales with understanding the content production field

  • Studio/ OTT experience will be a plus

  • In-depth understanding of the industry, market, and key trends and identifies key sources of competitive information and uses these to build key relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Proven experience within the Production community, with a strong contact base.

  • Strong knowledge of the market, the industry, and successful sales practices

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities with a professional attitude and to deliver professional results.

  • Credible and Results Driven.

  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and in English (both spoken and written)

  • Travel as needed
