Microsoft Corporation Principal Engineering Manager (Edge mobile) in Beijing, China

The Microsoft Edge Commercial Mobile Team is looking for software engineering manager who are passionate about building a customizable, secure, and delightful browser for managed enterprise scenarios.

Responsibilities

As engineering manager for the team, you will work to improve the Edge mobile product of our business customers and earn their trust. You’ll supervise in a variety of codebases and have a chance to work with numerous partner teams and S500 customers to solve their problems. You will get a chance to work closely with our PM team, driving the growth by shipping new features for both admin capability and end user experiences. You will need to collaborate with a lot of Microsoft business features and infrastructures, such as Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID and authentication libraries, Microsoft Tunnel, to name just a few.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of team management

  • 5+ years of experience in building commercial software.

  • 3+ years architecture design experience

  • 5+ years in C/C++ or modern programming languages with solid engineering

  • 5+ years mobile (Android or iOS) development experience

  • Proficient understanding about mobile industry

  • Proficient English level, both speak/listen and write/read.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Cross platform development experience like Windows, Linux and macOS is plus- Web application development experience is plus- Demonstrated productivity and effectiveness in large codebases and/or open-source software (Chromium esp.).

  • Familiarity working in an agile environment, attending daily standup. Experience with practicing the role of scrum master is also helpful.

  • Work experiences in large enterprises and familiar with authN/authZ, security and MDM/MAM is a plus# WWE
