Where you fit in

Shell Mobility is transforming and aiming to become the “best mobility service provider in the world”. The Shell Mobility business in China consists of more than 3,000 service stations in 20 provinces (including fuel sites and standalone EV sites). Mobility China is a significant growth and cash engine. It is crucial to not only provide customers with the best fuels but also to cater for customers’ increasing demands for convenience shopping, café, take care of your car and quality food on the go.

As a Mobility China CR Team member, this role is supporting the food service developments in Shell’s mobility sites to help deliver the CR part in 2030 Concerto Strategy. Category Manager- Food Service is aimed to build up Mobility China’s food service capability in both category management, operation procedure and food safety to help contribute CR C3 growth significantly.

What is the role?

  • Deliver Shell food service profit growth targets.

  • Develop implementation plan for Food service in both fuel sites and EV sites with full control on food safety.

  • Establish the food service supply chain, logistic, standard on-store operation, operation inspection scheme and food safety control procedure.

  • Develop and refresh new food products based on customer’s real demands in mobility sites scenarios.

  • Establish food service P&L management scheme and strive to realize profit positive and PIR targets.

What we need from you?

We continue striving to build a professional Mobility organisation. The following qualifications will form a key part of the evaluation process and the selection of the candidate for the role:

  • At least 5 years working experience in fresh food product development or procurement.

  • “Can do” attitude facing adverse situations.

  • Sharp Commercial acumen at strategic, operational, and financial perspectives.

  • Recent first-hand experience and understanding of food service industry.

  • Robust analytical skills with deep customer understanding and consumer led mindset.

  • Strong capability of driving different teams via informal leadership to realize commercial results.

  • Bachelor’s degree and above.

  • Business fluency in English.
