Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the team’s effort to ensure timely and accurate closing, reporting and forecast.

• Provide ongoing finance expertise and decision support to plant management to enable the achievement of plant goals and objectives.

• Review and validate financial implications (e.g., ROI, IRR, pay-back) of capital investment.

• Improve finance processes and procedures with accuracy, reliability and timeliness.

• Analyze and control plant manufacturing cost and support cost saving initiatives.

• Support long term (5 years) plan and annual budget.

• Lead team to meet division consolidation and corporate reconciliation requirements.

• Train and develop talent to support business needs.

• Ensure compliance to policies and meet internal/external control requirements.

• Other tasks assigned.

Requirements: Education & Experience

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Accounting or financial management related

• 8+ years’ progressive experience in finance field and 2+ years’ experience of supervisor role

• Experience of Big 4 or manufacturing cost management is preferred

• CPA or ACCA or CMA is preferred

Requirements: Required Skills

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and processes

• Be familiar with manufacture cost management and plant operation

• Ability to lead and motivate team

• Good communication skills and ability to work across functions

• Ability to communicate in both Chinese & English fluently and effectively

• Advanced Excel and presentation skills are required

Requirements: Desired Skills

• Cost supervision experience is desired

• Financial analysis experience is an advantage

• Experience with SAP/ERP is preferred

Soft skills

• Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines with minimum supervision.

• Strongly self-motivated, independent and cooperative.

• Responsible, analytical, meticulous, and result oriented.

• Good interpersonal and cross-culture communication skills.
