Description The Internal Audit Intern position will support Internal Audit Department at the Corporate Headquarters. The position will assist with the annual assessment of the internal controls environment as required by the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002. Including, but not limited to, the gathering of evidence, performing testing procedures, and maintained supporting documentation. The Accounting and Internal Audit Intern may assist with special projects as they arise. Minimum Qualifications Required: * Junior or Senior standing individual pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting with a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications required, specifically Word and Excel. Ability to enter numerical data by touch, 10-key preferred * Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills * Detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality and accuracy * Ability to work with confidential information * Proven teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently Preferred: * Ability to travel for audit assistance (one (1) to multiple night stay), if needed * An interest in auditing, accounting, and/or IT * IT experience/knowledge of operating systems, databases, applications * Understanding of internal control structure, auditing techniques, and U.S. GAAP EOE/M/F/VETS/DISABILITY
