PCI Pharma Services Maintenance Technician IV in Bedford, New Hampshire

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

  • Set the schedule and direct daily PM execution with onsite maintenance technicians.

  • Proactively support facilities management in maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to site safety policies.

  • Perform scheduled, demand, and emergency maintenance on GMP and critical non-GMP systems.

  • Install, repair, and troubleshoot equipment critical to all functions of our cGMP facility.

  • Provide off shift coverage as needed for remediation and trouble call triage.

  • Conduct routine inspections and execute the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to prevent breakdowns of facilities, utilities, machinery, and equipment.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance operations and support the drive for continuous improvement.

  • Specifies and requests purchase of components and spares.

  • Ensure timely completion of GMP records and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in managing data reports and metrics and support the development of a comprehensive facilities schedule.

  • Maintain professional subcontractor and vendor relationships and assist in vendor training and oversight.

  • Provide project support as a subject matter expert in mechanical equipment design and operation.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to schedule maintenance events and coordinate activities.

  • Build the knowledge base by training less experienced Maintenance Technicians in Facilities maintenance tasks.

Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the stated position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • 5 years of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, central plant operations, refrigeration, Freeze drying, clean utilities experience.

  • Minimum of 8 plus years previous maintenance/engineering experience.

  • Minimum of 6+ years previous experience in a GMP and/or cleanroom facility preferred.

  • Knowledge and experience with clean utilities systems and processing equipment.

  • Knowledge and experience in CMMS system.

  • Basic understanding of computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, proficiency is these programs preferred.
