Maintenance Mechanic

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical and Electrical maintenance training and aptitude (trade license not required)

  • 5 yrs+ experience in maintenance of industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with metal fabrication / parts production preferred

  • Good familiarity with drives, gearboxes, and motors

  • Experience with machining or welding an asset

  • Knowledge of electrical maintenance 480V and under (wiring, circuits, power suppliers, PLC troubleshooting, etc.)

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player with a safety-first attitude

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

  • Willing and able to work assigned shift as required

Duties:

  • Repair, maintaining and/or overhauling automated and PLC controlled fabrication equipment as needed

  • Troubleshooting fabrication equipment - mechanical and any electrical (wiring, circuits, power supplies, etc.), 480V and under

  • Participating in PM program

  • Complete all maintenance work in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario and industrial regulations

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Shift: M-F / 40 hours per week

Compensation: $30 to $40 an hour based on experience

Benefits: health / dental / life policy / 401k / 40hours PTO for sick and vacation

Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
