Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, is working with a global automotive manufacturing organization . Looking for a Production Supervisor within a Aluminum Foundry in Bedford, IN . This is a 12-Month Contract with possibility of extension.
Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Bedford, IN 47421
Pay: $35-$36 an hour + benefits
Contract: 12 Month Contract, Potential to convert to perm./FTE
Schedule: 2nd Shift (2:30pm to 11:30pm) / 3rd Shift (10:30pm to 7:30am), Mandatory OT around 16 hrs/every other weekend
Key Responsibilities:
Manage operations of production floor within Aluminum Foundry with 21 different machines, including 15 to 20 team members and 2 team leaders
Manage safety issues/concerns
Lead shift start & end of shift team huddles
Assisting with improvement projects to machine down time, end of shift reports, updating excel shift sheets
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required, Management/Technical Degree Preferred
2 years minimum experience in a group leadership role, organizational leadership, general high volume manufacturing & Microsoft Excel required
Injection Molding Experience or Aluminum Die Cast specific experience
