ManpowerGroup New Product Introduction Engineer in Becker, Minnesota

The New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer is responsible for bringing a product from quote, to process development, and then into production manufacturing. The NPI Engineer will also work with the sales and customer teams to improve designs and processes. The NPI Engineer will coordinate the development of a lean manufacturing process and standard operating procedures within the engineering department.

Job Title: NPI/Manufacturing Engineer (Direct Hire)

Location: Big Lake, MN (100% onsite)

Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for assigned product/process development through the early phases of the product life cycle

• Collaborate with the customer and provide manufacturability feedback

• Coordinate NPI functions within the engineering department and a cross-functional team

• Develop key process variables for machining and secondary operational processes

• Develop process BOO/BOM structures within the ERP system

• Design, document, and improve developed processes, procedures, and work instructions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an associate degree with 5 years of experience in an applicable field

• Experience with CAD software

• Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment, especially Word and Excel

• Experience working within an ISO 13485 environment

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the design and selection of fixturing and tooling for complex parts

• Experience in a precision machine shop environment

• LEAN / Six Sigma training and demonstrated application

• Experience with CAM software; swiss or milling
