Vanguard EMS, Inc. Test Operator in Beaverton, Oregon

The Test Operator is responsible for providing testing support to the manufacturing operations and communicating resuts to our internal customers.

Requirements

What you’ll do:

  • Set-up and configure equipment.

  • Operate Functional Tester or operate HP ATE Tester.

  • Data collection/filing and interpreting test results.

  • Communicate with internal customers.

  • Keep area neat, organized and FOD free.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

  • Displays critical thinking and analysis.

  • Intermediate mathematical skills.

  • Self-motivation, problem solving, team spirit and a “hands on” mentality.

  • Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy or quality.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and thoroughness with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly.

  • Excellent internal and external interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc), Office, and Outlook

  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed oral/written instructions.

  • Basic familiarity with computer including DOS/Windows 95, Menu bar, Dialogue Area.

  • Ability to use DVM for resistance, voltage and current readings.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tester Level I Certificate

  • Previous Test Operator experience
