6 Months Our client’s Enterprise Data and Analytics Center of Excellence department is in the market for a dynamic and motivated Senior Project Manager to join their team.

Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years of previous Business Intelligence/Data Management project management experience and the ability to organize and direct projects and teams in multiple locations.

This Project Manager will also need strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills.

Here s what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:

Job Duties Work with business owner to prepare and define the project scope of work, financial plans, goals, and deliverables

Coordinate with IT management for resource assignment, creation of project deliverables, issue resolution and escalation

Execute project plans that are consistent with organization methodology and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

Manage project budget and schedule project timelines

Track project deliverables using project management tools; escalate critical issues to minimize risk Manage the design of project documents to monitor performance

Complete retrospectives for all assigned projects and coordinate appropriate training and testing

Work with project teams to identify opportunities for process and quality improvements

Ensure projects follow life cycle, necessary artifacts are produced, and adhere to methodology

Prepare and present status to various forums as appropriate representing all teams

Essential Skills Experience managing complex, enterprise-wide projects for a mid to large size organization 1000+ employees

Experience managing multiple, complex projects in IT, including operations, network implementation, data center migration, and security domains

IT infrastructure related project management experience required

Solid understanding of the following concepts and technologies: data management practices, business intelligence/analytics development lifecycle, IT security, virtualization, desktops, active directory, and migrations and upgrades

Excellent program management skills with demonstrated proficiency in project management life cycle and tools

Demonstrated ability to successfully communicate and collaborate across multiple functions, and internal and external partners Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and influencing skills

Proven competency to oversee multiple related projects and their resources to achieve milestones Financial industry experience preferred

Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, other related fields of study or equivalent experience Certification/License: PMP certification preferred
