Fortive Corporation Order Management Specialist / Customer Service in Beaverton, Oregon

We are looking for a dynamic customer orientated Order Management Specialist to add to our extraordinary team in Beaverton, OR! In this role you will be tasked with providing excellent customer service by way of commercial execution of orders from purchase order through delivery and invoice. Responsibilities:

  • Access external customer portals to retrieve purchase orders.

  • Archive and distribute purchase orders for contract review.

  • Coordinate Purchase Order review process, creating approval workflows.

  • Enter sales orders and maintain alignment to external customer order purchases for shipments and billing.

  • Track order status and provide updates, working closely with Business Managers.

  • Generate, distribute, and archive routine sales reports.

  • Coordinate with customer to acquire all vital documentation and required setup in customer’s shipping system.

  • Catalog and distribute shipment documents to customers, buyers and program teams.

  • Work closely with Accounting team and customers to ensure timely and appropriate processing of payment; reconcile credits and invoices as needed.

  • Distribute and archive AR Invoices to customers, including buyers, program teams and Accounts Payable.

  • Process direct AR cash application when requested by Accounting.

    Qualifications:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills while optimally multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be able to demonstrate sophisticated interpersonal skills within a team environment and the ability to work in an independent setting.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard Internet applications.

  • Outstanding organizational, planning and coordination skills with high level of attention to detail.

  • 3-5 years working in customer service or inside sales

  • Experience with ERP systems, Oracle Fusion preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration preferred.
