Actalent Electronic Test Technician in Beaverton, Oregon

Seeking to hire an Electronics Technician to support our large client in the Beaverton area!

Job Description:

We are looking for an electronics test technician to be a part of the engineering team to diagnose failed boards as they are installed in their products. They will not solder or rework boards, but will use oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers, then send the board to a rework technician. This person will take information of why failures are occurring and bring them to the engineering team for debrief and adjustment potentially to manufacturing process or products used. This person needs to have a deep understanding of electronics/electrical theory as well as hands on experience reading electrical schematics at the component level.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 years electronic technician associates, military training in electronic OR 3 to 5 years of experience working as an electronic technician.

  • Prior experience with component level troubleshooting.

  • Good problem solving skills.

  • Learns quickly, with a focus on quality and following process.

  • Excellent team skills, gets along well with others, highly dependable, potential for leadership within the team.
