Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a Degreed Electrical Engineer focusing in Analog design. Ideal candidate will have 1- 5 years of professional experience

This role will own the analog design portion of our products. You will work hand-in-hand with your digital EE counterpart and embedded engineers, involving full life cycle design and implementation to manufacturing. Initially, you will spend about 6 months getting up to speed on our equipment, which includes multiple boards communicating with a PC through USB, driving various test and measurement equipment, all controlled by microcontrollers. After this period, you will move into architecting new designs (from an analog perspective) to integrate with the existing system. This may include designing new boards or systems, selecting components, designing the board in Altium, schematic capture, and testing. A technician will handle the PCB layout. You will also write some testing code in C# (C or C++ is acceptable) to support manufacturing, with around 20% of your role dedicated to developing tools to test the board.

Hard Skills

  • Fundamental knowledge of analog circuitry

  • Experience in power supply design, amplifier design, power management, noise reduction, impedance, filtering, grounding, op-amps, power distribution, ADC, GHz level signals

  • Full design flow of PCB design

  • Component selection and schematic capture

  • Experience with FPGA and/or microcontrollers

  • Understanding requirements of digital portion of board

  • Experience in C#, C++ or C for testing hardware

This is a permanent position.

This is a fully on-site position in Beaverton, Oregon.

Work Environment

5 days a week on site.
