Job Summary:

Golf Maintenance Lead- Under the direction of the Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendents. Duties may include but are not limited to: Daily inspection of golf course conditions, assistance with safety training, assist with fertilizer applications, weekend staff supervision and oversight of proper daily work assignments s including special project work. Responsible for instructing staff on proper/safe equipment use and work methods, performs and/or supervises special projects and reports all disciplinary/quality control issues to the superintendent and assistant superintendent in a timely manner.

  • Shift Availability: Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Arrive on time and ready to work for each schedule shift

  • Overseeing job performance and inspecting course conditions

  • Enforce safe working conditions with all job assignments

  • Supervise staff on scheduled weekends

  • Quality control documentation and proper reporting

  • Responsible for instructing staff on proper equipment use and work methods

  • Supervise special projects

  • Reports all disciplinary issues to the superintendent and/or assistant superintendent

  • Ability to perform irrigation repairs

  • Knowledge and ability to set up the irrigation computer for nightly watering

  • In-depth knowledge and operating proficiency with regard to all equipment used in the daily golf maintenance operations

  • Other Duties as Assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required,

  • Must have 3-4 years of experience in all aspects of golf course maintenance

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions in English

  • Must enjoy working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

  • Applicants must be knowledgeable in all aspects of golf maintenance in order to train and instruct team members on the proper methods and safety procedures

The expected pay range is $23.00 - $25.99. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
