What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Directs, develops and oversees general safety policy and procedures

  • Ensures the workplace is in compliance with OSHA and other state, local or industry specific regulations

  • Manages the Safety and Health function to meet our Safety Policy

  • Responsible for the promotion of Safety and Health of the Beasley Operation

  • Ensures Safety Audits are conducted on a weekly basis and provides management with metrics to improve

  • Participates and/or leads incident investigations for compliance to safety standards

  • Adapts to operational needs and addresses immediate concerns of the manufacturing environment

  • Plan and direct safety orientation, skills trainings, emergency plans and job specific safety training

  • Collects and analyzes safety related data to reduce and prevent workplace accidents and improve overall facility safety record

  • Manage Safety team and budget

Your Education Should Be…

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety or similar degree preferred.

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

Minimum Experience:

5-8 years related experience and/or training in a manufacturing industry. Management experience in Health and Safety required.

Skills Required (i.e. certifications, licenses, registrations, etc.):

  • Leadership

  • Problem Solving/Analysis

  • CSP, CSM, or other related Safety Certification

  • OSHA 10 hour and 30 hour general industry trainer certification highly desirable
