AespaTech LLC is seeking qualified professionals to fill the position of Network Engineer in Beachwood, OH. Responsibilities will include: Design, develop, test, maintain, and implement network security applications. Handle incoming[ requests for assistance from Business and Technology associates]{lang="X-NONE"}. Test and manage firewall and network security systems by establishing and enforcing approved policies. Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning. [Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment]{lang="X-NONE"}. [Research and verify ports, protocols, and services (PPS) for security compliance. ]{lang="X-NONE"}Ensure applications communicate over the network using source and destination IP addresses, ports, and protocols. Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Analyze network security requirements and implement perimeter security changes. Develop network documentation of security infrastructure. Troubleshoot a variety of products within a multi-vendor environment. Monitor network performance and implement performance tuning as necessary. Design, configure, manage, and troubleshoot various network firewall technologies. Utilize industry best practices for security, disaster recovery, business continuity, and change control. The position requires 50% of national travel.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Electronics Engineering and five (5) years of experience as a Network Engineer, Technical Specialist, Computer System Analyst, or in a related occupation. Experience must have included configuration management, performance analysis, Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco WAN routers, Firewall: Firepower, Fortinet, and Cisco WLAN controller and access points.
