Job Information

TEKsystems Medical Biller - Hybrid in Beachwood, Ohio

Description:

-Submit insurance claims and denials

-Work within Change Healthcare for insurance claim entering

-Claims resolution

-Familiarity with the error codes sent out by the EMR system and knowing what do to internally to get the claim to processed correctly

-Directly working with the payer at times

-Reading EOB

-Writing appeals

-Add new enrollments into the EMR

-Investigating which patient balances a payment should be used for

-Work with insurance providers and patients when it comes to collections and delinquent accounts

-Work with insurance to secure payments that are past due

-Work with leadership to develop practices to expedite processes

-Generate documents to support insurance claims submissions

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-6 months of experience working with Change Healthcare REQUIRED.

-2 years of experience as a Medical Biller highly preferred.

  • Candidate must have experience submitting claims, follow ups, denials/appeals, understanding what EOBs are.

  • Some coding would be nice but not required, we use 4 codes.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

  • Training will be the first 2 weeks in a shadow model

  • After training and a performance check, candidates will be eligible to work 2 WFH days a week.

  • Client is flexible with Hybrid needs and may grant additional WFH days if the candidate performs well and builds up a good relationship with the team.
