Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Bayport, Minnesota

Description

I am seeking a detail-oriented Field Operations Specialist primarily responsible for a variety of end-user support tasks within the operations. Your role would also involve providing direction and supervision to the Field Operations Team. This position requires hands-on and remote resolution capabilities to perform duties such as computer hardware and software installation or maintenance. The specialist would also troubleshoot diverse issues pertaining to desktops, laptops, networks, telecom, video conferencing, VoIP, and infrastructure in office and manufacturing environments. This will be fully onsite in Bayport, MN.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install and configure personal computer systems

  • Manage IT Incident queue, and proficiently resolve level I / II / III technician issues as necessary

  • Identify, evaluate, and validate new hardware and software that could benefit the company while maintaining cost efficiency

  • Familiarity with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and its components; you'll install, configure, monitor, support, optimize, and administer

  • Manage and maintain Windows Active Directory domain, ensuring security and availability of user logins, ACL permissions, Group Policies, and network printing, in accordance with corporate policies and requirements

  • Create and keep up to date company Knowledge Base documentation that caters to both end-users and IT staff, utilizing effective communication methods

  • Perform on-site or remote desktop support for end users

  • Carry out any other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Strong root cause and trending identification skillset to implement solutions mitigating issues within the environment.

  • Operational knowledge of Active Directory and Organizational Units

  • Understanding of networking principles

  • Must be able to communicate and work effectively with others in and outside of the IT department

  • Minimum of four years relevant experience, supporting information systems operations.

  • 4+ Years’ experience in IT Relationship Customer Support

  • 4+ Years desktop/laptop/mobility hardware maintenance, repair and troubleshooting

• Experience with EO/IR systems is mandatory

• Proficiency in Microsoft software and applications is required

• Familiarity with Active Directory is essential

• Must have knowledge of Computer Hardware

• Experience with Configuration Management is necessary

• Deployment skills are a must

• Deskside Support experience is required

• Candidates must be able to work in a manufacturing environment

• Must possess strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

• Should be able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

• The ability to handle stressful situations and high-pressure tasks is essential.
