Responsibilities

 

 

 

Our Material Handling Group is currently looking for a full time Corporate Trainer for the Central Michigan area (Saginaw, Lansing, Battle Creek). The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:

Conduct technical training for internal technicians

Work with local managers to track and schedule training to keep technicians up to date with current requirements

Stay up to date on current products

Provide technical troubleshoot for technicians and customers as needed and work within support ticketing system

Completing training in a timely, efficient and professional manner

Providing exceptional customer service

Work and manage workloads independently

Proper completion and submission of all required paperwork

Performs other duties as assigned

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

 

Previous experience is highly preferable

Knowledge of safety compliance for operating equipment

Coach, evaluate and develop skills of class participants

Traveling between our branch offices and customer sites as needed

Strong working knowledge of electric and internal combustion units

Good mechanical aptitude

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professionalism required. Ability to work with people of various levels of intelligence.

Technical background with good computer skills

Well organized

Willingness to learn

Desire to succeed and a flexible "can do" attitude

Computer programs - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Language Skills - High: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills - Basic: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability - High: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. High School diploma, or GED equivalent

Must have valid driver's license, clean driving record and automobile insurance
