Grace Health Education Resource Coordinator (Certified Medical Assistant) in Battle Creek, Michigan

Grace Health is currently seeking a motivated individual to assist in the coordination of clinical orientation activities, staff activities and other projects which contribute to professional development. We offer great benefits and other perks include no nights or weekend work.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not be all inclusive.)

  1. Assists in developing the process and schedule for clinical orientation, identifying and working collaboratively with clinical preceptors.

  2. Acts as a liaison between the clinical staff and management.

  3. Develops educational activities and programs for clinical staff.

  4. Participates in development of clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.

  5. Quality improvement education and participation.

  6. Assists in development and implementation of clinical staff education including clinical skills re-validation, department audits and chart audits.

  7. Responsible for monitoring and validating new clinical staff skills.

  8. Assist with clinical quality measures process (CLIA, Code Blue, Crash Carts, N-95 mask monitoring).

  9. Involved in employee health requirement compliance (N95 testing and training, employee immunizations).

  10. Coordinates patient education materials.

  11. Conducting monthly Ativan count checks with R.N for double signature.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Minimum of High school diploma or GED. Prefer graduation from an accredited medical assisting program, or graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Experience: Minimum two (2) years in an ambulatory care setting desired

Clinical preceptorship experience desired

Certificate/License: Certification as medical assistant required, or possession Licensed Practical Nurse license. Current BCLS certification
