Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm M-F

Hourly Rate - $14/hr

  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments for LT-PCS home assessments recipients

  • Mail LT-PCS eligibility determination decision letters

  • Mail POC to provider, fiscal intermediary, and/or registry contractor

  • Refer appropriate complaints to Adult Protective Service or Elderly Protective Services according to policy

  • Develop and implement management reporting and control mechanisms to measure progress and compliance with internal and DHH performance standards to track pertinent data to ensure effective decision-making and achieve goals within established timeframes

  • Check Unisys for Medicaid Eligibility

  • Open incoming mail, sort and scan for appropriate distribution

  • Prepare outgoing mailings; insert materials in envelopes

  • Manage department scanning tasks to ensure departmental workflow and time frame compliance

  • Contact LT-PCS recipients to confirm service delivery

  • Assist requestors with provider selections

  • Contact LT-PCS provider to confirm availability and start date

Educational, Training, and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years experience in social and/or human services, preferably working with the elderly, or mentally challenged and physically disabled persons

  • Knowledge of healthcare preferred; Medicaid experience also preferred

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Strong customer service background

  • Extremely detail oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to adhere to deadlines

  • Strong organizational and follow-up capability

  • Ability to adapt to continual program and departmental changes

  • Proficient in computer applications, i.e., word processing, databases, spreadsheets and email applications, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
