AMMON Staffing iscurrently recruiting a skilled Paralegal on behalf of a prestigious law firm that practices Labor and Employment Law, Civil Rights Violations, Governmental Law, Personal Injury, Criminal Law, Family Law, and Environmental Law.

As a Paralegal, you will be an essential member of the law firm's team, providing comprehensive support to attorneys across multiple practice areas. Your role will involve conducting legal research, assisting in case management, drafting legal documents, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the firm's legal proceedings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to gather relevant information for cases.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
  • Assist in managing court filings, deadlines, and legal calendars.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
  • Prepare attorneys for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing necessary documents and exhibits.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and handling general inquiries.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of the work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Previous experience as a paralegal in a law firm, preferably with exposure to the practice areas mentioned (Labor and Employment Law, Civil Rights Violations, Governmental Law, Personal Injury, Criminal Law, Family Law, Environmental Law)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting clear and concise legal documents.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with court procedures, legal terminology, and the litigation process.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Salary:

  • Pay rate is $22per hour plus, depending on experience and qualifications.
