AMMON Staffing is on the lookout for a Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee operations in a prominent manufacturing facility in Slaughter, Louisiana. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality grapples, clamshell buckets, and related equipment, contributing significantly to global supply chain activities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Supervise manual and CNC machinists, ensuring high-quality standards and efficiency.
    • Maintain accurate documentation, ensure adherence to company procedures, health and safety policies, and maintain good housekeeping.
    • Develop practices to assure parts conform to quality requirements and improve operating efficiency.
    • Manage scheduling, task assignments, maintenance, and inventory control to support workflow.
  • Qualifications:
    • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a machine shop environment.
    • Strong computer, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills.
    • Experience or willingness to learn basic CNC operation to track and improve productivity.
