Job Description:  QMA’s are a valuable member of our health care team who work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to perform skilled nursing care tasks as assigned according to plan of care.

About us: Crown Pointe Senior Living is an assisted living facility located in Greensburg, Indiana.  Crown Pointe Senior Living is seeking compassionate QMA’s to become a part of our team where our primary goal is to provide exceptional care to our residents. 

About the Role:  Crown Pointe Senior Living is seeking QMA’s

  • Prepare and administer safely and document regularly prescribed oral medications

to residents.

  • Administer as allowed, oral PRN drugs when authorized by a licensed nurse.

  • Understand that injectable medications must always be given by a licensed nurse.

  • Demonstrate knowledge that the telephone or verbal orders may never be

accepted by a QMA.

  • Understand and demonstrate knowledge that appropriate vital signs will be taken and recorded as required before administering certain medications.

About you:  The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience.

  1. Must be certified as Qualified Medication Aide in the State of Indiana.

  2. Must complete a State approved training program in medication administration.

  3. Must possess a current health certificate/examination as required by State

agencies.

  1. Must perform only those duties that were taught in the approved training program.
