Shift 1 (United States of America) Position Summary: Build machines, equipment and their subassemblies and following the mechanical layout and the general assembly layouts and other written and verbal specification. Recognize problems with designs and parts and take appropriate corrective actions. Recommend improvements for area products and processes. Perform prototype work with limited engineering and supervision. Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress / emergency situations, priority changes, and new assignments. Demonstrate leadership in training new employees, actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts. Have developmental capabilities in the area of special tooling. Assist in machine setups in the field Produce high quality of work. Adhere to the 5-S standards in the work area. Communicate any discrepancies' or errors on prints, materials list etc. Interact with the teams on second and third shift to obtain positive results on productivity and quality. Basic Qualifications: Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school: or 3 to 5 years of related experience or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems. Good at math and statistics. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities.
