Job Overview:

(Subsea Engineering Variation)

Actively participate in the digitalization initiatives within the Subsea Department

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

(IT Variations):

• Dashboard mockup development and user validation.

• Support for ongoing efforts to build low/medium complexity reports.

• Support the testing and release of reports.

• Create SQL queries and building analytical reporting dashboards.

• Acquiring data from multiple data sources for dashboard and reports.

• Summarize information and build consolidated tables to drive reporting.

• Assist the Finance Pillar lead with Tax Application Consolidation project.

• Provide support for Tax Application Consolidation Project.

• Provide support on various Finance related IT projects.

• Participate in project meetings and workshops.

• Assist with creating and presenting material at PMO tollgate meetings.

• Assist with creating and maintaining project schedules.

• Take meeting minutes and send out updates including action items.

• Assist with eRecords discovery process - including participation in user workshops and tabulating results.

• Assist with socialization of the "new retention schedule" of the Onshore side of the business to facilitate the rollout for the new organization. Will include data tracking and reporting of suggested changes.

• Assist with development of wet signature policy, reporting via Policy Center Portal and roll out.

• Assist with analysis of data backup tape storage indices to determine tapes that are eligible for disposition.

• Assist with archival process to facilitate the Houston move project.

• Assist with validation of HR Scanning initiative - checking to ensure scanned image matches original source.

• Assist with the monthly security awareness training program.

• Contribute to technical documentation and participate in policy, procedure and standards development.

• Track and manage action plans for the resolution of issues identified during assessments and audits.

• Work with other departments within IT to obtain the required evidence for SOX controls.

• Consult with vendors, perform research and evaluate products to assist in the selection and purchase of equipment and installation or upgrade of systems.

• Provide strategic and technical recommendations following identification of vulnerabilities in operating systems, applications, and network infrastructure.

• Evaluate security controls and recommend corrective actions to mitigate technical risks.

• Assist the Project & Lifecycle Document Management Pillar with various system and business-related tasks.

• Assist with operational objectives by studying systems; business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.

• Understand system capabilities, gather requirements, construct workflow charts/diagrams and write test scripts.

• Collaborate with other Business Analysts on references and updates to system Training Documentation as needed.

• Imaging new computers and transferring data using internal processes as part our Windows 10 migration project.

• Transfer data and install applications.

• Setup computer, monitors and desk phone for new hires and internal moves.

• Document all computer replacements via our internal Service Now ticketing system.

(Subsea Engineering Variation)

• Assist consolidation and automation efforts for subsea engineering tools and processes

• Promote digitization effort by consolidating past and current projects information within web platform

• Suggest innovative ways to improve legacy processes for the entire Subsea value chain

Essential Qualifications and Education:

(IT Variation)

• Current enrollment in a college or university.

• Must be currently pursuing bachelor's degree in engineering or IT.

• Must have completed at least 2 years of college.

• Must be currently pursuing bachelor's degree in engineering or IT, engineering or business.

• Degree in IT with a 3.0 GPA.

• Ability to work as a team member.

• Maintain key competencies associated with the IT function.

• Have some experience with technical activities.

• Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.

• Computer literate on Microsoft programs: Word, Access, Power Point, Excel, Project.

• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.

(Subsea Engineering Variation)

• Currently enrolled in Degree in Ocean or Subsea Engineering

• Ability to work as a team member

• Have basic knowledge of subsea field equipment

• Be curious and innovative

• Interested in new technologies

• Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken

• Basic programming skills (Python, VBA)

• Computer literate on Microsoft programs: Word, Access, Power Point, Excel, Project

• Interest and exposure to Design for improved User Experience of digital products
