Verizon seeks a Principal Engineer-Data Science in Basking Ridge, NJ to develop national and regional marketing campaigns including multiple database environments by using marketing campaign tools. Ensure accurate implementation of Regulatory, Legal, and Privacy policies. Implement new technology stack tools and data sources. Build models using statistical analytical software such as Python and R. Manage projects through to implementation by developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria. Deliver marketing lists by utilizing data engineering and project management skills. Provide meaningful insights through advanced analytical models and present the project results or data points as a story to the leaders and communicate effectively with both business and technical teams. Lead projects, and collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams such as IT, legal, and vendors to analyze data. Create data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker tools. Develop and manage dashboard, macros and reports for the management. Develop and maintain database on Google Cloud platform. Prepare, cleans, and automate data using workflow and ETL tools such as Knime, Rapid Miner, or Alteryx. Analyze and report solutions in Tableau including requirements gathering, planning, communicating, and KPI reporting. Collaborate with stakeholders to build a strategy for attracting more leads. Write SQL queries using JOINS, UNIONS, GROUP BY, Window Functions, and stored procedures. Develop analytic solutions, and align solutions to strategy. Develop and implement TFS/DICE as a customer and prospect identification tool to be used as a source table for Artemis instances. Collaborate with IT and TFS teams to track improvements, bugs and features. Test and validate data using SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle and Teradata. Create Dashboards by using Tableau and automation. Travel is required 10% of time within the U.S.REQUIREMENTS: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field, and 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 1 year creating data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker tools. 1 year of experience preparing, cleansing, and automating data using workflow and ETL tools such as Knime, Rapid Miner, or Alteryx. 1 year of experience testing and validating data using SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle and Teradata. 1 year of experience writing SQL queries using JOINS, UNIONS, GROUP BY, Window Functions, and stored procedures. 1 year of experience leading projects, and collaborating with senior management and cross-functional teams such as IT, legal, and vendors to analyze data. 1 year of experience building models using statistical analytical software such as Python and R. Any experience utilizing machine learning data preparation concepts such as cross validation, folding, boosting, and feature engineering.
