Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Associate Manager, Development Program Management in Basking Ridge, New Jersey
Using prior project management knowledge and experience in the drug development industry, the Associate Manager of Development Program Management Operations provides support for development programs and projects in the Development Program Management (DPM) group. This role also supports portfolio wide reporting, champions process improvement and provides tactical support for Regeneron’s drug development programs and pipeline.
In this role, a typical day may include:
Overseeing operational activities of DPM group and providing overall support for tactical goals.
Using project management techniques to drive development and maintenance of planning and tracking tools in support of the DPM team.
Participating in annual goal setting sessions to develop project level goals that align with Regeneron’s overall goals and monitors progress against these goals.
Contributing to the crafting of contingency and risk mitigation plans and integrated project plans, and actively supervises progress against the approved baselines.
Monitoring the integrated program timeline and budget, identifies variances, and raising issues where appropriate.
Participating in and potentially managing project interactions and deliverables between Regeneron and our strategic alliance partners and collaborators (where applicable).
Applying technical expertise in existing systems and tools related to and supporting tasks, projects, and programs; Also potentially managing the implementation and administration of tools used by the assigned functional area.
Serving as business partner to Global Development Systems and assisting in the maintenance of the organizational structure of shared databases, maintenance and visualization of program timelines, and consistency and completeness of key program documents.
Facilitating collaboration within the department and between functional areas to ensure effective, accurate, and timely communication.
Tailoring communications based on audience, effectively framing and communicating nuanced context for partners and capturing rationale for decisions.
Potentially crafting or identifying new processes and/or leading the development of innovative solutions, while gaining alignment from impacted partners.
Participating in process improvement initiatives and ensuring they meet business needs.
Ability to travel up to 25%

To be considered, you must have a BS with 8+ years or an Advanced Degree (MS, PhD) with 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in drug development / pharmaceuticals. Proficiency in relevant software is also needed: SharePoint, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
