Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. Security Guard - Full Time in Barrie, Ontario

We are seeking Full Time Security Guards for a Commercial/corporate site.

Position Overview:

Wages: $17.05/hr

Shift timings:

Monday - Friday: 1700-0100, 0100-0900

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.

  • Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities.

  • Perform foot patrols inside and outside the store. checking doors ensure they are locked.

  • Must be able to walk and do hourly 20-40-minute patrols. Able to climb stairs and deal with vagrants professionally.

  • Hourly patrols of complex/parking garage. Advise all vagrants to vacate property and call local police when vagrants refuse to leave. Write reports for all incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Ontario Security License

  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate

  • 6 months+ security experience.

  • Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response
