Kuehne+Nagel KN Global Services HER - Air Logistics Process Team Manager in Barreal de Heredia, Costa Rica

Your Role

The Process Team Manager reviews Processes in KNGS with the goal of identifying and suggesting opportunities for standardization, automation (whether E-Touch or RPA), efficiency and quality improvements, waste elimination, and increased system usage. Additionally, they develop and recommend strategies to implement the above goals and overall performance improvements. The Process Manager and their team are also responsible for supporting the migration of new processes to the GSC.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop/maintain team framework, roles and responsibilities, staffing, training and readiness of process and system super user teams.

  • Lead, manage, develop all staff. Provide day to day guidance, feedback on their performance, foster open communication between and within the teams for total transparency.

  • Proactively, regularly collaborate and communicate with Production Manager to review process additions, migrations and changes, trouble shoot quality and performance issues, assess/provide additional training related to new migrations, as required. Develop framework to differentiate and record all topics, action items and progress between operational and process areas.

  • Develop/maintain strategies to increase penetration of focus tasks/processes to meet agreed targets, as well as add new ones in line with region’s strategy.

  • Follow/Enhance/maintain migration framework in line with GSC standards, including strategizing w/regional owner on how to achieve targets, collaborate/determine best fit for GSC teams relative to new processes, assist process owner with WI creation, follow through with TL’s/teams ensuring staff are trained to handle new work and steady state achieved with quality, performance, efficiency.

  • Ensure all new migrations of existing processes are aligned as closely as possible to the standardized process.

  • Ensure variances are reviewed and authorized by RA-ON GS in all cases.

  • Coordinate regular reviews of task visibilities and life cycles, with Production Manager, 2.0 teams and RA-ON GS (as required) for most effective and efficient team performance.

  • Follow/Enhance/Maintain standardization framework in line with GSC/GPO. Align standardizations, changes and impact of such with RA-ON GS in advance of go-live.

  • Provide post go live feedback to regional owners including improvements in quality, performance, cost.

  • Develop framework to analyze, identify and improve workflows and processes in all 2.0 GSC teams. Should include identification of both internal (GSC) and external (region) factors and behaviors. Requires close collaboration and full transparency with Production Manager, TL’s and ultimately RA-ON. All projects should be documented, visible to region and show measurable, reportable results.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Knowledge of KN processes, systems, operations, products and services.

  • Project Management Experience (preferred).

  • Leadership Experience (direct).

  • Plus to have experience as Process Specialist or similar.

  • Excellent knowledge of KNPS tools.

  • Advanced English & Excel skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of Tableau and BO Reporting.
