HP Inc. Software Product Manager in Barcelona, Spain

Position background:

In the GTM analytics COE our mission is to deliver impact by building machine learning products to optimize pricing and marketing investments and provide guidance to our sales organization.

Those products are of high value to the company: Imagine affecting the marketing investments of all of HP products globally across all distribution channels utilizing ML.

In our production environment developers from each domain generate the first algorithmic models to solve questions such as: Should we invest more in search or display? Should we increase investment in keyword XXX in Google/AMZ on in keyword YYY?

To help our users to interact with those algorithms we are looking for a product manager that will define the product vision, roadmap, product backlog, user stories. The product manager would join forces with the delivery team to understand the user needs and with the dev team to ensure sprint specifications are clear and exciting.

What you will do:

  • Interact with customers to understand their needs and create product vision;

  • Define product roadmap;

  • Build user stories and prioritize product backlog;

  • Help save HP people a lot of time and deliver financial results.

What you will need:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a technology company;

  • ​University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Software Engineering or any other relevant field;

  • Demonstrated success in developing and launching successful products;

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to use data to improve decision-making;

  • Ability to understand technical concepts is a plus;

  • Experience in writing user stories and working in Agile.
