UL, LLC Senior Project Manager (with French), Onshore Wind Technical Due Diligence in Barcelona, Spain

As Senior Project Manager, you will effectively support the day to day activities of the Due Diligence team, supporting and guiding decisions on projects, project management and opportunities, within a highly matrixed organization.

In addition, this role is responsible for building relationships with customers and supporting the commercial team by ensuring workload balance and providing technical support needed to satisfy customers.

  • You will work with our customers and be the main client interface for UL Solutions (this also includes meetings with lenders and developers).

  • To ensure a timely delivery of our projects, you will manage internal as well as external resources.

  • You will manage independent engineering (IE) and technical advisory (TA) services to support the development, construction, financing, sale, or acquisition of onshore plants and/or hybrid portfolios.

  • You will be in charge of high-profile OE, IE and TA projects. This includes overseeing:

  • Site visits and construction monitoring

  • Technology review

  • Civil and electrical design review

  • Commercial and technical contracts review

  • Project schedule

  • Project financial model

  • CAPEX and OPEX costs

  • Environmental and permitting review.

  • You will compile and complete IE and TA reports as well as prepare various communication reports and project status reports.

  • Academic background in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering

  • At least 6+ years’ experience working as a project manager/engineer in wind construction Projects.

  • Clear and deep understanding about the typical steps of a technical due diligence process and risk appraisal

  • Language skills: Business fluent in English, French and Arabic; additional languages are considered an advantage.

  • Experienced in project development processes and construction monitoring.

  • Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and level-headed when meeting tight deadlines.

  • You may be available to travel up to 20% of the time within EMEA region.
