To manage and to assure the overall effectiveness and continuous improvement of the Health, Safety and Environment systems in the mixed lab, factory and office environments in DSM-Firmenich in Spain.

Your key responsibilities

  • Drive the development of a strong safety culture and the execution of Dsm-Firmenich QHS&E strategy

  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, & Environmental regulations and group requirements

  • Conduct risk assessment, audits, reviews, investigations further incidents/accidents

  • Set-up preventive and correctives action plans as well as continuous improvement plans

  • Provide training to all affiliate personnel;

  • Provide support to Quality and Food Safety systems

  • Establish effective working relationships with all local management to promote, encourage and sustain a genuine commitment to effective HS&E management.

You bring

  • MS degree preferably in Chemistry/Food Technology

  • At least 3 year experience, preferably in Chemical or Pharma or food industry

  • Qualified in Spanish HS&E Certification for " Superior Technician in Labor Risks Prevention in 3 fields ( security, industrial hygiene and ergonomy (In spanish so called ="Técnico Superior de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales"con 3 especialidades (seguridad, higiene industrial y ergonomía/RPS)"

  • Fluent in English and Spanish

  • Open to travel in Spain

  • Interpersonal and people skills as well as good communication and presentation skills.

  • Be a pragmatic and independent leader

  • Encourage and sustain a real passion and commitment to world class QHS&E performance;
