About the role:

  • The Identity & Access Manager will lead the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team within our Security and Compliance organization. The IAM function's primary objective is to ensure that the right individuals have access to the right resources at the right times for the right reasons.

  • The role holder will be responsible for building the IAM function, establishing clear principles and standards aligned with the group's security policies, defining administration, control, and assurance processes, and overseeing the delivery of IAM initiatives to enhance efficiency and security.

  • This position will be a part of the Security and Compliance leadership team, reporting directly to the Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define strategy, roadmap, and project portfolio for Identity and Access Management.

  • Establish standards and drive the design and implementation of IAM processes and controls.

  • Manage Identity and Access Management Services, including access management, role and rights management, and access entitlement review.

  • Collaborate with Solvay's Governance and Audit groups to support internal and external audits related to IAM.

  • Ensure IAM services comply with policies, procedures, and IT risk management programs.

  • Support product teams in prioritizing IAM initiatives based on risk and alignment with strategies.

  • Build, manage, develop, and mentor the IAM team and relevant contractors, vendors, and service providers.

  • Stay updated on emerging threats and security trends to enhance Solvay's security program.

  • Manage the budget for the IAM function.

About You:

  • Education And Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

  • 5-10 years of security experience with standard IT technologies and end-to-end architecture understanding.

  • Good understanding of Identity and Access Management components: Privileged Access Management (PAM), Directory Services, AuthO Platform, OAuth 2.0 integration, Single Sign-On, RBAC.

  • Ability to define IAM principles, standards, and procedures.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country base pay reasonably expected for this role is 56k to 40k (Portugal), your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills, experience, or location. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
