Company looking to hire a Laborer to perform both light and heavy manual tasks in a wide variety of maintenance work. Responsibilities: Performs maintenance related tasks (e.g. picking up trash and debris, cutting grass, building and equipment repair, etc.) Cleans up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material Handles and transport materials (e.g. cement) and equipment (e.g. drills and grinders) Inspects and fuels vehicles prior to beginning shift Follows instructions from supervisors Puts up warning signs (e.g. signposts, cones) for vehicles and passersby Reports issues with equipment or unsafe conditions Performs other related duties as assigned. Must be able to pass a drug-screening and background check before start of employment. Must be able to work in all weather conditions Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of 50-75 pounds, etc.) Willing to work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary Ability to follow instructions Communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safety rules
