Posting End Date: July 11, 2024 Employee Type: Regular-Full time Union/Non: This is a non-union position Enbridge Gas Ohio is hiring a Supervisor Gas Operations - Construction that will oversee capital pipeline projects and restoration of gas distribution facilities, project and resource management, customer involvement and monitoring of work. While supporting reliability performance goals, the Supervisor will also Advise and assist in technical training and development of employees, while also continually looking for ways to improve process and procedures, not only within the department, but throughout all Design and Construction at Springside. Are you interested? Apply today!! Here's what you will do: Support reliability performance goals. Supervise crews during outages to ensure timely restoration of service. Schedule, assign, and monitor the work of construction crews and / or contractors. Pre / post inspect jobs, resolve design problems and material discrepancies, and review contractor expenses to ensure accurate time and equipment charges. Ensure proper work methods are applied and safety precautions are followed. Supervise emergency restoration of service activities, including night management of packaging work. Utilization of GIS, SAP, Microsoft excel and word applications. Monitor budget goals and employee productivity. Oversee operations and procedures of direct reports to ensure productivity, as well as compliance with company, state and federal rules, regulations, and policies: responsible for company assets and budgets. Interpret policies, procedures, agreements and terms and conditions. Develop bargaining unit employees by providing training, mentoring, development, and oversite of activities for assigned employees including completion of performance reviews. Who you are: You have: 5+ years of directly related experience with a related Bachelor's degree OR 7+ years of directly related experience with a related Associate's degree OR 9+ years of directly related experience with a High School Diploma/GED. Full knowledge of pipeline distribution system, construction work methods, maintenance and repair, operations guidelines, and cost analysis. Essential customer service and computer skills. A range of skills such as leadership, contract interpretation, project, and time management. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Decisioning making and teaming abilities. You are: Proficient in MS Word and Excel. You can: Schedule and prioritize work. Motivate employees. Handle constantly changing and emerging priorities.
