BWXT is currently seeking an SAP Manufacturing Functional Analyst for its Barberton, OH location!

  • Mostly on premise position in Barberton, Ohio, with some opportunity to work hybrid.

  • Configure SAP discrete manufacturing (PP) with project systems (PS). which is used to drive manufacturing demand.

  • The PP/DS solution is currently an S/4HANA sidecar with ECC. Batch management is used to support traceability requirements.

  • Work with the development team to deliver reports, forms, interfaces, IDOC/ALE integration.

  • Release transports for migration to the QA system, define and execute test plan to assure proper application functioning.

  • Maintain familiarity with BWXT business requirements, focus on government requirements, complex long build cycle heavy manufacturing at multiple sites, nuclear fabrication and services, and project accounting.

  • Requirement Analysis:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document manufacturing business process requirements.

  • Solution Design and Configuration:

  • Design SAP solutions to meet manufacturing business requirements.

  • Configure SAP ERP system to implement manufacturing business processes and functionalities.

  • Collaborate with technical teams for customizations and enhancements.

  • Implementation and Testing:

  • Lead and participate in the implementation of SAP ERP manufacturing solutions.

  • Conduct thorough testing of configured solutions to ensure they are defect free and meet business requirements.

  • User Training and Support:

  • Provide end user training on new and updated manufacturing processes.

  • Offer ongoing support to resolve manufacturing-related issues and ensure smooth system operation.

  • Documentation:

  • Create comprehensive documentation for implemented SAP ERP solutions, configurations, and processes.

  • Maintain updated documentation for future reference and training purposes.

  • Continuous Improvement :

  • Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and system functionalities.

  • Stay informed about SAP updates and best practices in manufacturing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience with SAP PP/DS for scheduling.

  • Experience with integrating and supporting MES solutions with SAP.

  • Integration experience with QM, IM and WM.

  • Proven experience as a manufacturing-focused SAP ERP Functional Analyst.

  • Significant troubleshooting skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new systems and technologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with a strong customer orientation.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

  • SAP certification in Production Planning, and PP/DS modules.

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

  • Knowledge of integration points between manufacturing and other SAP modules.

Pay: $81,000 - $123,000

The base salary range for this position in Ohio at the start of employment is expected to be between $81,000 and $123,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
