Physician Assistant Opportunity – Join Our Dynamic Trauma Service

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center seeks a Physician Assistant to join our team of General Surgery and Trauma Specialists. Responsibilities include assisting in the operating room with both elective, acute care, and traumatic surgical cases, rounding in the intensive care unit and surgical floors, trauma response in the emergency department and performing procedures including central venous lines, chest tubes, arterial lines, and wound dressing changes. The team of general surgery and trauma physician assistants work a varied schedule including nights, evenings, and weekends providing acute care and trauma services. Our trauma surgery team is dedicated to teaching and providing a supportive, collegial work environment. We offer a competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package including a generous student loan repayment program. Candidates must be NCCPA certified, and licensed to practice in the State of Maine, or immediately eligible for the same.
