Edwards’ groundbreaking work in transcatheter aortic heart valve replacement (TAVR) pioneered an innovative, life-changing solution for patients by offering heart valve replacement without the need for open heart surgery. Our Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business unit continues to partner with cardiologists and clinical teams to transform patient care with devices supported by clinical evidence. This role will be an expert on disease awareness and therapy development targeted at patient and referring physician (Primary Care, General Cardiologist, etc.). They will drive development and execution of innovative programs (online and offline) while collecting, preparing, improving, and performing analysis of the data derived from existing market development initiatives in APAC. The goal is to accelerate the adoption of TAVI in APAC and help more patients live better lives. This position will be located in Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur and will report to Senior Manager, Market Development - APAC THV.

How you will make an impact:

• Target, plan and execute initiatives that establish high-impact changes to Aortic Stenosis (AS) patient care and develop core messages & value creation tools.

• Conduct market research, collate marketing and educational materials, and produce presentations for use with stakeholders, marketing teams, sales channels, cross-functional partners, and geography partners.

• Develop and promote AS patient capture strategies and protocols.

• Specifically work on messaging and programs aimed at Primary Care in APAC which is a major drop-off in the AS Patient pathway.

• Develop an engagement/advocacy strategy with KOLs and societies.

• Increase referring physician awareness of TAVI to minimize patient drop-out.

• Assist in developing social media strategy, website development, and other digital marketing tactics.

• Establish clear project objectives with which to plan and measure future business and market performance.

• Monitor and report on performance metrics of global market development action plans.

• Communicate progress to senior management and cross-functional partners.

• Partner with Global and regional market development teams to leverage key programs and adapt for APAC specific needs.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with global and cross-functional partners within the APAC THV organization.

What you'll need (Required):

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 6 years of related work experience Required or

• Master's Degree or equivalent with minimum of 4 years of related work experience Required

• Experience working in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry Preferred

• Fluent in English & local language, both written and spoken

• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Windows environment (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

What else we look for (Preferred):

• Other languages are a plus

• Background within marketing/strategy consulting

• Experience in market/therapy development

• Experience in medical technology/pharmaceutical industries

• Knowledge of cardiology market

• Understanding of full marketing mix (including digital marketing) ideally in the medical devices market or with Pharma.

• Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and data-driven thinking.

• Skilled at influencing without authority

• Project management skills.

• Collaborate with agencies, other partners, and internal stakeholders.

• Highly creative with ability to think outside of the box.

• Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented with high level of energy.

• Should be willing to travel occasionally (20%+)
