Tech Lead – Systems Engineering

This resource will be responsible for the design and development of End of line & Inline automation systems for manufacturing plants and also responsible to support new IE4.0 initiatives in a long term. The person should have minimum 8 years of experience in electrical and controls design.

Essential skills

  • Experience in electrical architecture and controls design for minimum 8 years

  • Experience in design and development of control panel for minimum 8 years

  • Hands on experience in Schematic and Harness design for minimum 8 years

  • Hands on experience of PLC programming for minimum 3 years (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi…)

  • Hands on experience in components selection

  • PLC, Circuit breakers, Relays, Protection devices, etc…

  • Transformers, Sensors, Hipot devices, power supply, etc…

  • Hands-on Experience of using AutoCAD for panel layout and schematics

  • Good understanding of safety and protection standards and their implementation

  • Understanding of Communication protocols (RS232, RS485, USB, Ethernet…)

  • Hands on experience in system integration and testing of Industrial Automation components and systems

  • Vendor co-ordination and follow up

  • Good verbal and writing communication skills.

  • Must be a team player and support the team efficiently

Desired skills

  • Experience in technically guiding/leading Jr. Engineers

  • Experience in system integration and testing of automated test equipment’s

  • Test sequence design and logic programming will be an added advantage

  • Experience in system integration and testing of automated test equipment’s

  • Basic knowledge on VB

  • Project management knowledge

  • HVAC knowledge
