The Role

As a CICS & MQ Mainframe System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Who You Are

As Mainframe CICS System Programmer Specialist, you are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.

  1. 7+ years of experience in Mainframe CICS.

  2. Installation, upgrade and maintenance of CICS and related products & Sound knowledge in SMPE

  3. Experience in problem determination, performance tuning, setting security and web enabling CICS.

  4. Set up and maintain CICS regions.

  5. Technical guidance to the team.

  6. Good Knowledge in Disaster Recovery

  7. Primary on call support for upgrading/installing and migrating CICS Transaction servers

  8. Diagnose CICS system and related product issues and follow up with root cause.

  3. SYSVIEW for MQ – IBM Product.

  4. MQATTACH – To monitor the MQ MFT transfers – MQATTACH Product.

  5. BMC Main View for MQ – BMC Product.

  6. BMC Subsystem Optimizer for MQ – BMC Product.

Job Qualifications
