Amazon Sr. UX Designer, IN Selling Partner Experience in Bangalore, India

Description

Amazon India is seeking a creative, thoughtful and customer-obsessed UX Designer to help us define the future of Selling Partner Experience in India.

The mission of the team is to innovate tools and technology that enables millions of Selling Partners operate, grow their business online and serve billions of buying customers worldwide in the most efficient, effective and delightful way.

In this role, you will work on to solve for current selling partner problems and define long term strategic initiatives to shape how our Selling Partners run their business across different channels and using different form factors. You will closely collaborate with a team of Product Managers, Researchers, Designers, Engineers and work with business and UX leadership to improve how Selling Partners conduct their business on Amazon. You’ll drive UX design from early-stage concepts all the way through final delivery and launch. The role requires a design lead who is responsive, flexible and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment with a high-degree of independence and ownership to thrive in collaborative work environments while raising the bar for user experience and accessibility.

Key job responsibilities

  • Create world-class, user-centered designs through consideration of market research, business requirements, customer feedback, domain/industry workflow patterns, and usability study findings.

  • Understand the end to end customer journey, the friction points within, and how your proposed CX solution impacts that path and others.

  • Drive exploration of new experiences to help Selling Partners get the maximum out of selling on Amazon

  • Confidently defend design rationale in reviews with leadership.

  • Codify designs into written guidelines and requirements.

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other UX Designers to ensure a consistent and delightful experience across all product/services in the digital content creation space.

About the team

India Experience Group (IXG) is part of the IN retail team with the vision to design best in class experiences for our Customers and Selling Partners to "Transform the way they shop and sell".

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience

  • Knowledge of design tools such as Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio, and Dreamweaver

  • Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design

  • Knowledge of usability principles and techniques

  • Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes

  • Experience with UX design of complex workflows

  • Experience designing for India or Emerging market customers.
