Description

Prime Video is on a mission to enable all customers, in all supported countries, to have a defect free discovery and viewing experience. To achieve this vision, we build technical applications and solutions to auto-detect defects at different points in content journey. Operational tools and applications are the acceleration engine to this vision. These applications, enable humans to perform specialized and high judgement functions such as catalog management, reviewing Trust and Safety breaches before publishing content in sensitive territories and editing defective assets. They also facilitate automated content release/block decisions and helps train science models to have higher success rates in higher judgement decisions. This role will define and deliver end-end strategy around operational applications to support a large base of PV internal operators and business managers eventually accelerating our defect free publishing vision.

Key job responsibilities

Sr Manager, PMT, in the Quality and Tools organization will-

  1. Lead a team of product managers working on applications which solve each of the unique business problems.

  2. As the single threaded leader in this space, they will create a NorthStar vision, a Three Year plan for operations applications and tools.

  3. Their objective is to drive continuous quality and compliance assessment in the supply chain at lower cost and greater accuracy.

  4. They will be accountable for the CSAT, throughput and operational accuracy delivered by the applications their team designs.

  5. They will work with operations, business, tech, analytics and product as their key stakeholders.

A day in the life

They will be required to understand multiple product initiatives within PV to design a roadmap.

  1. ML/CV: Work with science teams to standardize signal integration to operations.

  2. Central UI team: Work with the central UI design team to optimize our front-end design.

  3. Partner Applications: Work with Partner Facing product teams

  4. Content Operations and Trust and Safety Program: They will be the SPOC for operational orgs which use these tools.

  5. Market Research: They will drive bench-marking across available 3P applications in the media industry and create strategic differentiation.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of team management experience

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • Experience leading cross-functional software development teams, operations , UX Designer and other Product Managers
